They are NOT hard to find. According to some they were the most mass produced speaker of the 70s. Something like 500,000 pairs were built. An mint pair of A-25s seldom go for more than $300, so you'd be saving at least $100-$150 vs the L710.

Most of the capacitors in your crossover are of a type that does not degrade over time. Your crossovers do have one large electrolytic capacitor. Some brands of electrolytic capacitors will drift from their specified values over time.

For $40, it's a no brainer, go pick them up. If you let them get away, you'll be sorry. The A70 may be, and this is pure speculation without graphs, the more accurate of the two. 1.
