Web11 apr. 2024 · For audio / music production guys: I´m looking for a loudness meter plugin (vst / au, or both) capable to measure in LUFS that I can install on 10.5. Does such a thing even exist? LUFS became a standard loudness measure circa 2012, I think. So it may exist for PPC or not. Any info will be very appreciated. Thanks! WebLUFS is newer than RMS and takes more resources to calculate because it has to filter and oversample the signal in order to get a measurement. You can use LUFS if you need to match a specification but for recording, production and mixing RMS and peak are still useful. SHORT TERM is within a few seconds.
