The first 4 days, I didn’t have any other symptoms — no nausea, no fever, I didn’t really even have stomach pain or discomfort other than the urge to go often. My appetite has been relatively normal. Diarrhea is accompanied by fever of 101 degrees or higher, chills, vomiting, or fainting. Severe diarrhea lasts longer than two days in an adult, one day in a child under age 3, or eight hours in an infant under 6 months.
